Louise had been blind in one eye from cataract for a few years and her other eye was also deteriorating rapidly. She could no longer tend to her plantation and others started stealing her crops. Her daughter had to give up her job to care for her. After a successful operation at New Sight, she couldn’t stop laughing as she celebrated with her family, including her youngest grandchild that she’s able to see for the first time. Now she is able to work at her plantation and her daughter is able to work again. She missed cooking the most and everyone is excited to taste her cooking again.
