Our privacy policy has been established to ensure that their information will not be shared with any third party without their consent unless it is required by law or is necessary for government purposes.

For volunteers:

- Other personal information: age, job, title, volunteer records, health status and medical history;
- Information concerning how the volunteer heard about New Sight;
- Information the volunteer wishes to share: questions, comments, suggestions;
- Other information related to New Sight specific functions; see purposes listed below.
3. Purposes of Personal Data Collected
The purposes of information collected and maintained by the New Sight team may include but not limited to the following:
- Management of donations such as processing gifts, acknowledgement, receipts, payment collection, etc. donors could choose to give anonymously;
- Communication of organisation information as permitted by the individual such as newsletters, organisation of events, fundraising.
- Statistics and research preparation.
We will honour individual requests not to use members, patients, supporters, donors and volunteers information in any and all of these ways.
4. Sharing of Personal Information
Use of members, patients, supporters, donors and volunteers information will be limited to the internal purposes of New Sight. In circumstances which information is shared and disclosed, prior approval from Directors and consent from the relevant party must be obtained. For example, New Sight sometimes identifies patients and donors by name, describing them as members of New Sight, in articles on our website and in our newsletter that concern those patients and donors.
5. Your Information –Update/Access/Delete
At any time, you may update, request a copy of your personal information that we may have recorded and/or request deletion of the information by directing requests to info@newsightcongo.com.
Removing a Name from the New Sight Mailing List
New Sight does not want to send unwanted mail to our donors and volunteers. Should you wish to be removed from the mailing list, please contact us.
