Boniface was a senior officer in the Department of Education when he lost his sight. He was so distressed that at one point he was seriously contemplating suicide. Thankfully, he found help at New Sight and he received a sight-saving operation, which saved his life as well.
He said he has two reasons to celebrate, one being that he no longer had to give up his job and he was relieved he could continue to support his family. The more important reason was that he could see his loving wife and family again, who were all thrilled for him. As for his wife, she was thankful to have her husband back, and she was most looking forward to shopping for new piece of fabric again!
