Dear friends and family,

Africa, as a continent, bears one of the highest disease burdens globally in relation to its population, yet it receives an inadequate amount of funding and resources aimed at improving health conditions. New Sight’s mission extends beyond merely providing medical treatment; it also focuses on training medical personnel and enhancing medical infrastructure in the remote regions of Congo. New Sight operates in Congo to restore sight to those who are visually impaired. With a surgical procedure costing approximately HK$ 1,000, a patient can regain their vision, leading to transformative changes in their lives and the lives of their families.

We conducted a complimentary eye screening and health check for over 80 domestic helpers and refugees at Union Church, and through this initiative, we aspire to raise awareness for New Sight. We firmly believe that the work being done by Joyce and Henri is commendable and warrants significantly more attention and support. We are convinced that through our services and fundraising efforts, we can enact meaningful change.
